Nyornuvi (Girl) Project

Nyornuvi is a project dedicated to educating girls about menstrual hygiene management, advocating for sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR), and providing free sanitary napkins to girls in underserved communities who cannot afford them. The project actively engages parents, male and female teachers, and boys as critical stakeholders in addressing the challenges associated with period poverty.

Our goal is to increase school attendance, improve high school completion rates for girls, eradicate the stigma associated with menstruation, and safeguard the future of girls by empowering them with knowledge and resources.

Through these efforts, we aim to create a supportive environment where girls can thrive and fully participate in their education and communities.
